‘We are not thieves – NNPC replies Oshiomole, gives clarifications

The erstwhile Chief Financial Officer, CFO, of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPC, Umar Ajiya, says the institution and its workers are not thieves.

Ajiya made this remark during a league by the Senate Public Accounts Committee investigating alleged misappropriation of funds.

His remark followed the allegation by a lawmaker representing the Edo North Senatorial District, Adams Oshiomhole, who declared the NNPCL a location of thieves.
