Taraba govt clarifies report linking rector’s suspension to TETFund intervention funds

The Taraba State Ministry of Tertiary Education has dismissed a study linking the suspension of the rector of the College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, COAST, Jalingo, Dr Yakubu Ali Garjila, to an alleged quality implicit TETFund involution funds.
The ministry described the study published by an online paper arsenic “false, baseless and misleading,” insisting that the commissioner for Tertiary Education ne'er demanded TETFund wealth from the suspended rector.

In a connection signed by the commissioner for Tertiary Education, Yakubu A. Yunusa, the ministry said determination was nary quality betwixt the commissioner and Garjila implicit TETFund involution funds.

“The circumstances surrounding the rector’s suspension were unrelated to TETFund funds, contrary to the report”, the commissioner said .
