Police arrest seven suspected cultists in Delta, recover gun, cartridges, drugs

Operatives of the Special Anti-Kidnapping Unit, SAKU, Ubulu-Uku person arrested 7 suspected cultists and recovered a single-barrel gun, unrecorded cartridges and illicit drugs successful Delta State.

The suspects were arrested connected 13th September 2026, according to a connection by the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, successful Warri.

The Police said, “On 13th September 2026, operatives of the Special Anti-Kidnapping Unit (SAKU), Ubulu-Uku, acting connected credible intelligence, executed a hunt warrant astatine a premises on Ghana Quarters Street, Umuebu Road, Obiaruku.”

According to him, “The hunt led to the betterment of 1 locally fabricated single-barrelled gun, 1 unrecorded cartridge, quantities of suspected illicit drugs, 1 conflict axe, mobile phones and a laptop computer.

“Seven suspects were arrested: Wisdom Enede, 25; Ocheli Solomon, 42; Nnaji Godstime, 23; Izu Thankgod, 28; Kester Adishi, 31; Oghonogho Pentecost, 28; and Adishi Prince, 28.
