Nigeria would have developed more if it was colonised longer – Kiddwaya

Reality TV star, Tersee Waya, popularly known arsenic Kiddwaya, has claimed that Nigeria would person been overmuch much developed if the British had colonised the state longer than they did.

Britain gave Nigeria independency successful 1960 pursuing unit from nationalists and governmental activists. Nigeria severed its remaining ties with Britain successful 1963 erstwhile it became a republic.

In a caller station connected societal media, Kiddwaya argued that Nigeria’s independency was premature.

He claimed that the state would person been amended developed if the assemblage masters had stayed 10 to 15 years longer than they left.

On his X handle, helium wrote, “Unpopular opinion. The British should person stayed successful Nigeria for 10/15 much years. You spell spot amended development.”

His assertion elicited mixed reactions, with galore agreeing that his claims were hard to disregard considering the benignant of leaders that Nigeria has produced since independence.

Others argued that the assemblage masters would person ignored improvement and continued exploiting Nigeria’s resources if they had remained longer.
