Jigawa police foil kidnap plot, arrest two suspects

The Jigawa State Police Command says it has uncovered a transgression conspiracy and foiled a suspected kidnapping plot.
Spokesman of the command, SP. Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the apprehension successful a connection issued to newsmen connected Sunday.

According to the statement, “on May 23, 2026, its operatives arrested a 55 year-old Adamu Gari, of Zabo Kafi Village successful Kafin Hausa Local Government Area of Jigawa State, and Abdullahi Adamu, 40 years, of Fatiske Village successful Jama’are Local Government Area of Bauchi State”
