Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has approved the reinstatement of Dr. Surajo Abdullahi Shinkafi arsenic the substantive Rector of Abdu Gusau Polytechnic, Talata Mafara, with contiguous effect.
The determination followed a reappraisal of the circumstances surrounding his suspension.
The improvement was announced successful a connection issued by the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs, Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Mohammed.
According to the statement, Shinkafi has been directed to study to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and resume his duties arsenic the institution’s substantive rector.
The connection did not disclose the result of the reappraisal that led to his reinstatement.
Recall that Shinkafi was suspended by the Zamfara State Government connected June 16, 2026 implicit allegations of misconduct and insubordination.
