Democracy Day: Insecurity in Nigeria due to collapse of grassroots governance – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu on Friday blamed the insecurity his medication is addressing the illness of grassroots governance.

Tinubu disclosed this during his nationwide broadcast to people this year’s June 12 Democracy Day.

The president said successful his bid to admit the grassroots, his medication sought fiscal autonomy for the 774 section governments.

He noted that the ineffective section authorities medication is simply a large situation to Nigeria’s advancement.

“Recognising that ideology is undermined erstwhile radical bash not consciousness its impact, my medication has sought fiscal autonomy for our 774 section councils.

“A cardinal situation to our nation’s advancement has been ineffective section authorities administration.

“The insecurity we are addressing is partially owed to the illness of grassroots governance,” helium said.
