The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has re-arrested a suspected receiver and distributor of stolen mobile phones, identified arsenic Musa Idris, aft recovering 36 phones believed to beryllium linked to robbery operations.

According to the commissioner, investigations revealed that Idris had antecedently been arrested successful October 2025 for offences related to equipped robbery and possession of much than 200 suspected stolen phones.
