Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade has expressed disappointment implicit the postponement of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The biennial contention which was initially scheduled to kick-off connected March 17 was moved to July by the Confederation of African Football, CAF, connected Thursday.
CAF announced that the postponement was owed to “some unforseen circumstances”.
Ajibade took to the societal media to explicit her frustration.
“African women’s shot deserves better,” Ajibade posted connected X with an emoji of disappointment.
