NDLEA secures forfeiture of N33.6bn worth of opioids intercepted at Onne

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has secured an interim forfeiture bid for 17 containers loaded with illicit opioids valued astatine implicit N33.6 billion.

The bid was granted by the Federal High Court, Port Harcourt, pursuing an ex parte question filed by the agency.

In a connection connected Tuesday, NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, said the containers were intercepted astatine the Port Harcourt Ports Complex, Onne, Rivers State, connected aggregate dates betwixt April and September 2025.
