Four members of the Senate person officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), DAILY POST reports.
The senators see Senators Ikra Bilbis, representing Zamfara Central, Aminu Iya Abbas, representing Adamawa Central, Amos Yohanna, representing Adamawa North and Ipalibo Harry Banigo, representing Rivers westbound senatorial district.
Their defections were formally announced during Wednesday’s plenary session, wherever the president of the senate, Godswill Akpabio, work their notices connected the floor.
DAILY POST recalls that this comes aft 4 members of the House of Representatives defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Labour Party, LP, to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
