Proceedings successful the proceedings of erstwhile Minister of Power, Saleh Mamman, were stalled connected Thursday astatine the Federal High Court, Maitama, aft the suspect failed to record his last written address.

Mamman is facing prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) connected a 12-count complaint bordering connected alleged wealth laundering involving N33.8 billion.

At the resumed proceeding earlier Justice James Omotosho, counsel to the defendant, Femi Atteh, confirmed receipt of the prosecution’s last written code but informed the tribunal of a pending question seeking an hold of time.

“Atteh told the tribunal that the defence filed a question connected April 1, 2026, requesting further clip to alteration it to taxable its last written address,” the tribunal heard.

Prosecution counsel, Rotimi Oyedepo, did not reason the application.

Ruling connected the request, Justice Omotosho granted the extension, adjourning the substance to April 23, 2026, for the adoption of last written addresses.

The lawsuit is portion of ongoing efforts by the EFCC to prosecute high-profile fiscal crimes involving nationalist officials.
