ADC youths protest at INEC office in Taraba, demand recognition of Mark, Aregbesola

The Youth Wing of the Taraba State section of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) connected Thursday staged a peaceful protestation astatine the authorities office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) successful Jalingo.

Led by Comrade Maheer Marwana, the protesters gathered to request enactment changes wrong the enactment and called for the contiguous resignation oregon removal of the ADC National Chairman.

They besides urged INEC’s nationalist enactment to formally recognise David Mark arsenic president and Rauf Aregbesola arsenic the party’s nationalist secretary.

The protesters, who conducted themselves peacefully, vowed not to relent until their demands are addressed by the applicable authorities.

The organisers said the protestation underscores their continued propulsion for transparency, justice, and interior enactment reforms.

Addressing the protesters, the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mukhtar Umar Gajiram, assured them that their concerns and demands would beryllium communicated to the due authorities for further consideration.
