The Adamawa State Commissioner for Works, Adamu Atiku Abubakar, has opted not to defect to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Adamu, who is the lad of erstwhile Vice President Atiku Abubakar, was noticeably absent from the database of 22 commissioners who accompanied Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to formally denote their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressives Congress.

It was earlier reported that the Adamawa politician and the commissioners made their presumption known during a nationalist declaration.
